The 2014 Jordan Brand Classic team was recently announced, headlined by four Duke recruits and four headed to Kentucky. Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) is the only high school program with multiple selections. One fifth-year player and four players not chosen to the McDonald’s All-American team (L.J. Peak, Shaqquan Aaron, Daniel Hamilton, Kameron Chatman) were selected.

The 13th annual Jordan Brand Classic has unveiled the 26 student-athletes who will participate in the national boys game to be played on April 18 (7 p.m. ET). The game will be played for the second consecutive year at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The 2014 Jordan Brand Classic squad includes Student Sports Mr. Basketball USA front-runners Cliff Alexander, Emmanuel Mudiay, Stanley Johnson, Jahlil Okafor and Tyus Jones.
Okafor and Jones will be joined by future Duke teammates Grayson Allen on the East club. Justise Winslow will play for the West club. Kentucky also has four commits who will play in this year’s JBC, two for the East and two for the West.
Playing for the East in the national game will be hometown product Isaiah Whitehead of Lincoln (Brooklyn, N.Y.). The Railsplitters were ranked No. 7 in the Student Sports FAB 50 until they were shocked in the PSAL semifinals by Jefferson (Brooklyn, N.Y.). The game’s other New York native is Chris McCullough, who currently attends IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.). McCullough, a Bronx native and the game’s only fifth-year player, is headed to Syracuse.
Only one player in the game remains uncommitted for college — 6-foot-11 Myles Turner of Trinity (Euless, Texas).
In last year’s game, Jabari Parker (Duke via Simeon, Chicago) led the West team to a 102-98 victory over the East team. Parker shared game MVP honors with the East’s Julius Randle (Kentucky via Prestonwood Christian, Plano, Texas).
