Student Sports All-American Second Team
The 30-man 2013-14 Student Sports All-American second team includes five underclassmen, including National Sophomore of the Year Josh Jackson and Thon Maker, a tenth-grader who’s already built a national following for his unique blend of size and skill. The second team also includes four players from California and three from Virginia.

JBC: Okafor Closes In Style
Jahlil Okafor, a Duke-bound center and the most decorated player in the 2014 class, closed out his high school career with another national all-star game MVP award. The Whitney Young of Chicago standout had 29 points and 9 rebounds to pace the East to a 158-147 victory at the Jordan Brand Classic in New York. Mr. Basketball USA Cliff Alexander shines for West club.

This year’s Jordan Brand Classic was the event’s highest scoring game ever. The two clubs in one of the nation’s most prestigious national all-star games combined for a whopping 305 points as the East club defeated the West Club 158-147 Friday evening at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
